Allison Mack's New Blog....I totally agree!

Allison Mack always writes such insightful blogs and are personalities our a lot alike from what I can tell. She discusses in her new one about needing people around and I can relate to that in some ways. I have my down times and my alone time for serenity and introspection but then I derive a lot of my energy from being around people and I love the interaction and companionship. I need the personal interaction and affection with other people. We need to be able to stand on our own though and be our own person, I am working on my identity are you?

Here is her blog below...

“Which is worth more, a crowd of thousands, or your own genuine solitude? Freedom, or power over an entire nation?”A little while alone in your room will prove more valuable than anything else that could ever be given you.”- rumi

I hate being alone! It’s my most difficult thing to do, ever! I don’t even need to be talking to someone, but just knowing there is another heartbeat in the room with me is so comforting.
The problem with this addiction is that I very rarely leave time to think about what I am doing and where I am going. I love to distract myself with what other people are doing because then I don’t have to focus on me and where I am going and what I am doing. Wow… pretty good strategy.

I find that I often feel lost if there isn’t another person around for me to cheer on or support. I like to think of myself, romantically, as the ultimate muse! But really, when it comes down to it, I am scared shitless to find out what I really want out of life. Like somehow when I figure it out it makes it worse if I don’t accomplish it. If I can keep things vague then I wont have to worry about succeeding or failing. I can just float through life on the successes of everyone else! Ahhh! That is so parasitic!
Well… la di da… part of my struggle!

It is so strange to think that this could be the last season of Smallville. It has been such a huge part of my life for the last 6 and a half years. Part of me is so unbelievably excited to think about moving on to the next chapter of my life and the other part of me is terrified of branching out to anything new. Change is so exhilarating!

Thanks so much for all of my beautiful birthday wishes and the fantastic contributions on AMO! I am going to be signing for quite some time now! It is so lovely to feel so supported!
Ciao for now!Allison

Season 5-Episode 12 RECKONING

I have been re-watching the season 5 of Smallville and it is one of my fave seasons, I also adore the episode where Clark proposes to Lana after telling her his identity it is so beautiful. I am so happy for them and you have such hope and then it all goes so badly as she says yes and then gets killed in a car accident after telling Lex to repay the debt of bringing Clark back and restoring his powers.

I could not resist a proposal like that ever, from a man like Clark, so handsome, sweet and romantic. It is sad that he has had to keep secrets from her and lie to her and then lose her like that when he cares for with all of his heart. I like this scene in that he does the smart thing and his honest about his life and feelings with her and she sees the true Clark. I understand in some way why he did not tell her he wanted to protect her, etc. but then doing the day over and not telling her truth was not the right choice to make. Also if he would listen more to the warnings he would not have lost his powers and be brought back with an exchange of a loved ones life.

I also love this episode and scene because Clark the man of steel opens up and allows himself to be vulnerable which is a rare occurrence but so wonderful. It goes down hill from there as he goes to Krypton and gets a crystal that allows him to relive the day and saves Lana from getting hit by the bus but he also warned that fate has to find a balance and another life will be exchanged for hers and yet again he does not listen to the warning. He saves Lana but then his father has a heart attack. This episode is so moving as I have lost my father as well and know the pain of losing a parent and the void that you feel when they are gone. God and the love of friends and family helps you through but it is the hardest thing.

I miss Johnathon Kent..we will remember you always.

The end of the episode is sad with the funeral and the pain that Clark and Martha have to go through it makes me cry everytime.

Some great news-updates!

It has been released earlier that Dean Cain will appear on Smallville but some more information has been found that he will be in the fourth episode, I cannot wait to see it. He is such a great actor and he will be perfect on Smallville. The only sad thing is that he will not be on there longer but then you never know :D.

Dean Cain on Smallville...

Finally! Fans who have been wishing for a Smallville appearance by Lois & Clark star Dean Cain are finally going to be in luck. Dean will be appearing in the seventh season's fourth episode, "Cure," playing a doctor who we think is named Curtis Knox. The possibly-villainous Dr. Knox has a special talent - he can "cure" someone from being a "meteor freak," forever changing their lives and rehabilitating them. This news, of course, is of special interest to Chloe. But Dr. Knox may have yet another secret which may mean his deeds aren't necessarily that good. Dr. Knox is working for or with Lex Luthor, so expect some scenes between Dean and Michael Rosenbaum. He might also tie into the over-arcing Level 33.1 story. Pay close attention to the initials of Curtis Knox, by the way. Though this isn't the Son of Swann, this could be one heck of an episode. Look for "Cure" to air in October.

Sorry for the long time no post!

Sorry it has been so long since I have posted wow where does the time go. I went on vacation and it was amazing and it has been busy.

I went to New York and saw the musical Rent and that was wonderful, my friend Jamie and I were able to meet the cast and I met her nice friend Jayna and we went to statue of Liberty.

I will be posting more soon, I rewatched season 5 and that is amazing, one of my fave seasons of Smallville.

for this post a little Chlark tribute :D

One of my favorite scenes in Smallville ever from the episode Fever!

"I want to let you in on a secret. I'm not who you think I am. In fact, my disguise is so thin, I'm surprised you haven't seen right through me. I'm the girl of your dreams masquerading as your best friend. Sometimes I want to rip off this facade like I did at the Spring Formal, but I can't because you'll get scared and you'll run away again. So I decided that it's better to live with a lie than expose my true feelings."
This is so much easier when you're unconscious.
"My dad told me there are two types of girls. The ones you grow out of and the ones you grow into. I really hope I'm the latter. I may not be the one you love today, but I'll let you go for now, hoping one day you'll fly back to me because I think you're worth the wait."
- Chloe Sullivan (Episode "Fever")

Updated: July 29, 2007Updates from Smallville Panel at Comic-Con! (7/29/07)According to TVSquad.com, there are some new things headed for Smallville this year. All of this was revealed at the San Diego Comic-Con which was held this past week. Here is a little bit of what they heard, "We got our first glimpse of Supergirl in action with some preview scenes from Smallville's upcoming season. She was blonde, hot and had the gift of flight. Phil Morris (aka Martian Manhunter), who will be back next season along with old and new Justice League members. Green Arrow will be back next season, but not until mid-season. The first of next season's arcs belongs to Supergirl and Bizarro Clark. And, round about episode four, you can expect to see Lois & Clark's Dean Cain as a baddie." The only sad tidbit from the panel was that Batman will not be appearing in the series, most like indefinitely. Apparently, the higher ups are budging on that one. It also seems likely that Wonder Woman will not be appearing anytime soon. According to Kryptonsite: "Then, the clipfest went into some clips from the Season 7 premiere and possibly beyond. We see Lionel washed ashore in some way. An angelic-looking, flying Kara surrounded by white light. Chloe being zipped up but then waking up from the gurney in the morgue. More Clark vs. Bizarro and Kara in the Daily Planet." If anyone has any videos or pics feel free to send them to ellegirl@redcapemusic.com and you will be credited!.
Also I have a treat for you all, let's all learn Kryptonian :D...I am excited to learn!

TOM TOM AND MORE TOM!

You cannot get anybetter than a lot of Tom Welling.

Here is a great biography to learn more about him from tomwelling.org and some of my fave pics thanks to tomwelling.biz. Great sites.

I love that he is so dedicated to his work and also that he quit fashion and modeling because it was so superficial..I love that about him that he is above all of the superficial material aspect of our culture. I am so glad he decided to audtion for the role on Smallville.

Thomas J. Welling was born on April 26th, 1977, in Putnam Valley, West Point, New York. Shortly after Tom was born, his family moved to Wisconsin, and later, when Tom was in the third grade, his father's job necessitated a further relocation to Hockessin, Delaware.
The family remained in Delaware until shortly before the start of Tom's sophomore year, when they relocated to Okemos, Michigan. Tom's father, who has since retired, worked for General Motors, and his mother was a self-styled "home engineer." Rounding out the family were Tom's two elder sisters and a younger brother.
During his early years at school Tom showed a little of the acting ability that he would later use to great acclaim, making several appearances in school plays and pageants until his sixth grade year. A "jock" during his years in school, Tom also developed a passion for baseball, basketball and soccer. Soccer was Tom's most notable success, and he became the third-string goalkeeper on the high school Varsity team during his senior year.
By Tom's own admission he did no better than "fair" in high school. On graduation from Okemos High School in 1995, he made the decision not to pursue a college education.
Instead Tom chose to take on a more hands-on occupation, becoming a construction worker at a warehouse. He continued to live at home with his parents, and spent his free time hanging out with friends.
In the spring of 1997 whilst Tom and a few friends were taking a vacation on Nantucket, the then 20-year-old was approached near a bar by an Abercrombie & Fitch catalogue shoot scout. Following a brief discussion Tom was offered the opportunity to model for the catalogue, which at that time was still in its infancy.
Returning home to weigh-up his options, Tom ultimately decided to head to New York, where the shoot was scheduled to take place. It was to be the start of a new career, and Tom made a respectable few thousand dollars for his efforts.
Tom soon moved from his parents' home in Michigan, to Manhattan, where he modelled periodically over the next two years. During this time period Tom also joined Louisa Models in Germany, taking assignments in Europe from their offices in Munich and Hamburg.
While working in Miami, Florida, in 1998, Tom met his future wife, Jamie A. White, in a local coffee shop. Jamie, who is two years Tom's senior, also worked in the modelling industry at the time.
Despite a reasonable amount of success, it soon became clear to Tom that he wasn't suited for the modelling world. Feeling stifled by the superficial nature of the business, Tom decided that a change of career was in order.
With the encouragement of friends and family Tom relocated to Los Angeles, California, in early 2000. With no training, and with no intention of taking formal lessons, Tom gave himself one year to decide whether acting would be a more fulfilling career. His impression was that that acting didn't look too difficult.
Much to his surprise, Tom soon realised that he found the auditioning process quite enjoyable. His first acting jobs were in television commercials for T.J. Maxx and Verizon, along with a large role in the music video for the song 'Picture Perfect', by Angela Via, in March 2000.
Tom's breakthrough role was to come in the fall of 2000, when he won the part of karate teacher Rob Meltzer in the successful drama series Judging Amy.
The following May, Tom made an appearance in the series Special Unit 2, as Male Victim #1 in an episode entitled 'The Depths'. In September, Tom also made a brief appearance in the pilot episode of Undeclared. However his real success was just around the corner.

Tom's highly successful leading-man debut came in October 2001, starring as the Boy-of-Steel Clark Kent in the WB's Smallville.
Tom had thrice turned down an offer to audition for the role; he figured that the show would be "lame". However the casting directors had already auditioned hundreds of tall, handsome, raven-haired men for the part, and were sure that Tom had the fresh-faced appeal they were looking for.
They decided to ask Tom one final time. He relented and finally took an audition, reading from the now-infamous graveyard scene with Kristin Kreuk. Far from finding the show lame, he loved it.
Tom stopped at a gas station on his way home from the final audition, intending to call his agent on a pay phone. He was shocked when his agent informed him that he had won the role! Overjoyed, Tom stood by the side of the road screaming.
Unsure of how successful Smallville would become, Tom wisely chose not to get too settled in Vancouver, Canada, during its first season. Initially he would simply stay at hotels on weekdays, returning to Los Angeles at the weekends and during his time off.
Tom and Jamie were married on July 5th, 2002, in a private ceremony held on Martha's Vineyard. In attendance alongside other close friends and family members were Tom's Smallville co-stars, Kristin Kreuk and Michael Rosenbaum.
At the wedding reception later in the evening, Tom requested that Michael perform a special rendition of the Van Morrison hit, 'Brown-Eyed Girl', for Jamie.
Shortly after they were married, with Smallville now a smash-hit, Tom and Jamie finally made the relocation from Los Angeles to Vancouver.
As shooting wrapped on Smallville's second season in mid-April 2003, Tom was readying himself to film his first feature, Cheaper By The Dozen. Tom had been cast in the role of Charlie Baker, the eldest son in a family with twelve children.
With the movie completed, Tom's newly-gained experience both in front of and behind the camera was becoming highly evident. His performance had been raised to another level when Smallville returned to screens' a few months later.
In anticipation of Cheaper By The Dozen's nationwide release in the United States later that month, the movie's world premiere was held at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, December 14th, 2003. The entire cast of the movie was present for the star-studded event.
Following a very successful opening during the Christmas weekend, Cheaper By The Dozen went on to become a box-office hit around the globe. The movie climbed to number two in the US charts, and on its release in the United Kingdom in February 2004, the film shot straight to the number one spot.
In February 2005, Tom finally signed on to tackle his first lead movie role. In an updated remake of John Carpenter's 1980 classic horror movie, The Fog, he recreated the character of Nick Castle for a new generation. The Fog was filmed in and around Vancouver in late spring.
A few weeks later Tom flew out to Toronto, Canada, to film Cheaper By The Dozen 2, the sequel to his 2003 hit, Cheaper By The Dozen.
The fifth season of Smallville debuted to impressive, record-breaking figures for the WB Network on September 29th. At the end of July, Tom had appeared at an industry press junket to announce a few of the more notable aspects of the upcoming season, including a guest appearance from James Marsters. As if that wasn't enough, Tom seemed especially happy to reveal that he would be making his directorial debut on one of the season's later episodes.
The Fog was released nationwide in the United States on October 14th, 2005, and attained the coveted number one spot on its opening weekend. Cheaper By The Dozen 2 placed fourth following its release on December 21st.
In January 2006, Smallville celebrated the airing of its 100th episode, and shortly afterwards Tom directed his first episode, 'Fragile'. The episode received very respectable ratings, and reviews, when it aired on April 13th.
During Tom's rare time off from the filming of Smallville and other projects, he likes to spend time with his friends and family. He passes his spare time by reading, running, skiing on Whistler Mountain in Vancouver, playing basketball, and going to the gym.
